California stores must provide a valid California resale license. Cal Zoo does not export.
Cal Zoo will refer California schools and zoos to a store that can drop-ship with a 25% markup, charged by credit card.
DELIVERY
Shipping built around pet-shop receiving.
Cal Zoo ships nationwide year-round, pending a temperature check. Orders ship Monday through Thursday and typically arrive the following morning or afternoon directly to your pet shop.
Please have someone available as early as 9:00 AM, as carriers may arrive early. Many stores use FedEx Hold for Pickup at a nearby FedEx location for added convenience.
MINIMUM ORDER

Residential delivery adds $7. Remote-area delivery adds an additional $8. For cold or hot weather areas requiring box-in-box packing, add $6 for the winter heat pack and $12 for the extra box and heat or cold packs.
LIVE ARRIVAL
Live-arrival guarantee.
The guarantee covers live arrival only. In the rare event of a DOA, provide a clear photo upon arrival. Approved DOAs are credited toward your next order. They are not reshipped separately, and refunds are not issued.
The guarantee is void if no one is present at the store for the first delivery attempt and the carrier must return later. No other guarantees are implied or offered. Walk-in purchases have no guarantee after the animals leave the premises.
PAYMENT
Ways to pay.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, direct deposit ACH, Zelle, and PayPal are accepted. Zelle is the preferred method. Customers are responsible for PayPal fees.
HEALTH CERTIFICATES
Certificate requests.
Let Cal Zoo know if a health certificate is required. The fee is $35. Cal Zoo is familiar with requirements for Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, New Mexico, Illinois, Michigan, and Virginia.
